Allergy Eyes

dress: forever21, cardigan: american apparel, socks: hue, shoes: thrifted

I spent an hour babysitting this morning (in a different outfit) and got a ton of dog hair in my eyes, apparently, so they're a little red and puffy. Other than that, I quite like the way I look today. And forgive me wearing the same few things all the time, most of my clothes are back at school and I'm still home.

This cardigan has a problem with staying buttoned, so using a purple safety pin, some black chain I had lying around and a little bit of tape, I made myself a decorative little doodad to keep my sweater closed and add a little flair to my outfit. Or something like that.

I also made myself some new cat pins, which I'm thinking of selling on etsy. I  made this little purple guy and a light pink friend for him.

Threw in my velvet hair bow for good measure. (American Apparel)

And did a little cat eye and mixed my black Manic Panic lipstick with my purple (Va Va Violet by Revlon) to deepen up the look a bit. I do what I can.

Off to see War Horse in New York! Should be an all around good time. Have a lovely day, readers.

In Which I am a Cat

tank top: free people, sweater: crash bang boom, skirt: h&m, socks: urban outfitters, shoes: thrifted

It's raining, so I apologize for the indoor pictures with shitty lighting, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I bought this cardigan yesterday on a trip to South Street at the store Crash Bang Boom, which is pretty much my favorite place in Philly. The woman who works there (I'm pretty sure she's the manager) is really awesome and she's always super nice and friendly and she isn't afraid to strike up a conversation about anything. I feel a little bit ridiculous in a red cheetah print sweater, but I love it and it's just too ridiculous to pass up.

My pins were purchased at the Wooden Shoe, which is an anarchist bookstore, also on South Street. I also picked up a little comic-zine which I'll probably do a post about later, it's pretty great. Also, I've taken to wearing this bandanna around my neck like so. I like to think it has a rockabilly edge, though my mom says I look like a cowboy.

Here you can see my makeup. And my cat ears.

So here's what I look like today. Hope it's a good one xx

Goth-a-billy

sweater: old navy, dress: forever21, tights: american eagle, shoes: thrifted, glasses, thrifted, pin: homemade

Trying out a bit of a new look crossing my goth jams with a rockabilly vibe as inspired by this new dress and my new sunglasses. The shoes probably weren't quite right but most of my shoes are at school anyway and I had a lot of walking to do yesterday. Also, this is my backyard.

TWO dogs!

sweater: loehmann's, tank top: h&m, skirt: thrifted, shoes: thrifted, sunglasses: thrifted

Took my dogs for a walk in the park today since it's beautiful out and decided it was a great opportunity for outfit pictures. I'm home on Spring Break right now. These were taken by my best friend, Mary.

This is the pin I made today out of felt, channeling the Luella collection I last posted from, though Mary and my mom say that it looks like a dog, specifically my dog Cooper. He's the black one.

This white and black beauty is Maxine, my baby.  She's usually really attractive.

Hope you're all enjoying the lovely weather!

this is what happens when you drink a latte with purple lipstick on

this is the precious little dan rad. the show was actually really good (though not really my favorite musical) and i was surprised to see how well daniel could dance and sing! also, his acting was pretty incredible. plus he's adorable and tiny. we were in the third row by some grace of god and it was a really awesome experience. all in all, i'd say 10 points for gryffindor.

and here i am derpin' all over time square. (also, yes, i wear this skirt all the time, sue me).

Goth Librarian

dress: forever21, tights: dunno, sweater: loehmann's, shoes: nordstrom rack

Lookin' a little crazy in the face today, but whatever. Decided I wanted to look like a goth librarian today, think I was pretty successful. Not feeling particularly loquacious so yeah, here's my outfit.
